Psychiatry care can treat a variety of mental health conditions. The Psychiatric providers are nurse practitioners with special training and education in mental health and are in collaboration/supervision of an actual Psychiatrist MD. They have the skills and expertise to diagnose and treat both mental and physical problems related to psychological disorders, utilize non pharmacological approaches as necessary, and ensure what limited medications that are prescribed are at optimization per individual cases.



Rounding Providers is an Indiana clinician-owned and operated practice that meets the needs of the patients/ psychological and psychiatric services to patients in various settings such as, long-term care, acute rehab, assisted and independent living facilities and 24 hour call at no-cost to the facility.
The provider team works exclusively with each facility, over a several years span, which allows them to develop long term patient to provider as well as their families to ensure the care plans are tailored to each patient individually. Rounding Providers does not rotate different providers in and out of facilities which the continuity of care is never optimized.
All facility provider teams consist of nurse practitioners, psychologists, LCSWs and the entire practice is supervised by Steven Schneider, MD – Psychiatrist.
Dr. Schneider has practiced in Indiana hospitals and facilities for over 30 years and actively oversees and collaborates with all providers. He also is the medical director of several psychiatric inpatient facilities in Indiana and Ohio.
